DESCRIPTION:In this event\, we will dive into the future of Manitoba’s tech landscape by exploring how our organization\, While She is True (WST)\, is empowering the next generation of girls in technology. \nOur event\, tagged “Shaping Manitoba’s Tech Future: An Interactive Look” is a dynamic session designed to engage our audience directly in the world of coding\, design\, and innovation. We will quickly cover the vital mission of WST and then immediately transition into a hands-on workshop where attendees will build a simple AI model using Google’s Teachable Machine. This accessible project demonstrates that powerful technology\, like Artificial Intelligence\, is within everyone’s reach. \nThe event culminates in an Interactive Project Showcase\, allowing you to try out actual student-created games and applications and share your own workshop creation with others. \nGoal: To provide parents\, educators\, industry professionals\, and potential volunteers with an authentic\, tangible understanding of the skills and confidence WST programs build\, and how they can get involved in supporting the next generation of Manitoba’s innovators. \nProgram Overview:\n1.
