DESCRIPTION:Manitoba’s Data Science Program is recruiting for a Senior Applied Scientist (Data Scientist) who will join a high-performing team with an exciting mission to transform government. \nThe Data Science Program works across the entire public sector\, leading government in the use of machine learning and advanced analytics. Scientists within the Program build data science solutions to improve Manitoba communities and ecosystems. \nSenior Applied Scientists lead the most complex projects in our portfolio as autonomous scientists in a production data science environment. They apply data science and machine learning to support government’s objectives in fields ranging from agriculture to education\, climate\, and health. The role is a technical lead and champion for diagnostic\, predictive and prescriptive analytics projects\, taking product concepts from scoped requirements through to prototype\, development\, and deployment/delivery. \nJoin this session to learn more about this position\, ask questions about the Data Science Program\, and learn more about exciting data science career opportunities in the Government of Manitoba. \n
