The Lowdown on Spray Drones and Emerging Agtech Regulations
This webinar will explore learnings from spray drone trials taking place on EMILI’s Innovation Farms, as well as the legal ramifications of using spray drones in agriculture and recent changes to drone regulations with Erika A Carrasco, emerging technology lawyer with MLT Aikins, Kevin Falk, field modernization scientist with Corteva Agriscience, and Leanne Koroscil, manager of EMILI’s Innovation Farms.

EMILI launched Innovation Farms powered by AgExpert in on a 5,500-acre seed farm in Grosse Isle, Manitoba in 2022 to provide innovators across industry and academia with access to leading-edge equipment, technology, and production practices to increase productivity, sustainability, and profitability across the agriculture and agri-food sector. In July 2024, EMILI launched a second Innovation Farms site on a 8,500-acre farm (with approximately 3,000 acres dedicated to potatoes) in MacGregor, Manitoba
